Clean your unit gently with mild soap and warm water. If you're in an area with hard water, it's a good idea to occasionally descale the unit.
To descale, pour 1/4 cup of distilled white vinegar over the titanium plates in the center of the base, making sure they are fully covered. Allow the vinegar to sit for at least 90 minutes, then rinse. It's best to do this descaling process once or twice a month for the best results.
Please remember not to submerge the base in water, put it in the dishwasher, or use metal brushes for cleaning.
